During the second round of informal negotiations at UN.
In the run-up to the United Nations Conference on Sustainable Development (also known as Rio+20) in Rio de Janeiro this June, young people around the world want to share their views on the future of their planet.
Youth are eager to get involved in the decision-making process and learn about key issues surrounding sustainable development and the emerging global framework. As part of the international “MyCity+20” movement, students from colleges and universities around New York City will come together with nonprofit organizations to hold an interactive one-day event with presentations and mock negotiations. The group will discuss the zero draft of the outcome document and draft recommendations to be shared with youth from around the world at the Rio+20 Conference in June.

I would love to participate in this event, I am presently making plans to pursue a Masters degree in Environment and Resources and I believe being a part of this would be a great experience. Is this possible? Thanks.
Go ahead and fill out the application and we’ll get back to you at the end of the week!
