Wow, only two weeks to go!
The last month has shown how a group of young people can come together from different schools and nonprofit organizations to build a truly inspiring event. Our team is comprised of dedicated young men and women who truly want to make the world a more sustainable place, and we intend to start right here in New York City.
We look forward to a stimulating and fun day with a broad diversity of young people and perspectives. If you plan on joining us, fill out our brief application today!

During the second round of informal negotiations at UN.
In the run-up to the United Nations Conference on Sustainable Development (also known as Rio+20) in Rio de Janeiro this June, young people around the world want to share their views on the future of their planet.
Youth are eager to get involved in the decision-making process and learn about key issues surrounding sustainable development and the emerging global framework. As part of the international “MyCity+20” movement, students from colleges and universities around New York City will come together with nonprofit organizations to hold an interactive one-day event with presentations and mock negotiations. The group will discuss the zero draft of the outcome document and draft recommendations to be shared with youth from around the world at the Rio+20 Conference in June.
